This spring, we are pleased to welcome Dr. Chisato Takamura from the Cardiovascular Imaging Clinic (CVIC) in Iidabashi, Tokyo.
From April to June, Dr. Takamura has been working with Dijon University Hospital and our team at CASIS as part of the Myoscarce project, which focuses on the development of AI based on rare myocardial segmentation data. Her participation has been made possible thanks to the kind support and approval of Dr. Masahiro Terashima, Chairman of CVIC, to whom we express our sincere gratitude.Myoscarce is an international joint research initiative aimed at improving segmentation accuracy and supporting busy clinical routines through AI-powered cardiac image analysis software.Dr. Takamura is playing a pivotal role by providing clinical insights into contour definition and analysis processes—acting as a vital bridge between real-world medical expertise and AI development. This project aspires to deliver a comprehensive AI solution—from segmentation to diagnosis, and her contributions mark an important step toward achieving that goal.We hope to share further updates and outcomes as the project progresses.
And above all, we remain committed to advancing the future of medicine and technology—across borders, through innovation.
